Description

The F-4 with the short nose has been the first version used in Military Forces. It's first big missions were in Vietnam, where they had the problem that they didn't have a gun to utlize in dog fights against the MiGs. Due to this shortcoming, the E-Model was developed, called the "long nose".

The "short nose" has a very agressive look and most of the NAVY and MARINES fighters were short noses. A lot of attractive scheme choices are available for this version. The USAF deployed lots of "short noses" to Vietnam and these aircraft are also extremply popular for their South East Asian Camoflage paint schemes.

This is the base kit, still highly prefabricated, in a single base color (white, silver, grey)
